Schedule With Me
Hello and Welcome!
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding someone you connect with matters. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and able to be your authentic self. I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist who values authenticity, humor, and real connection. I support adolescents and adults in turning challenges into growth and building a life that feels more manageable and meaningful.
My ideal client doesn’t need to feel “ready” or have it all figured out. Growth is deeply personal and looks different for everyone. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or just curious about change, I meet you exactly where you are—no pressure to show up perfect, just as you are.
I work with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem challenges, self-criticism, relationship and communication issues, boundary struggles, and life transitions. I also support clients in building confidence, emotional regulation, and healthier relationships.
I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS/parts work), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy, blending structure with flexibility to fit your individual needs.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation for change. When you feel safe, understood, and more like yourself in session, real progress can happen. Many clients come in feeling stuck in overthinking, people-pleasing, self-doubt, or emotional ups and downs, and we work together to build tools that make life feel more manageable and less like survival mode.
If you’re unsure about starting therapy—whether it’s nerves, fear of opening up, or wondering if this will feel awkward—I get it. Starting is often the hardest part.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation as a relaxed, no-pressure space to connect, ask questions, and see if working together feels like a good fit. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Danielle Japenga, LCSW is my assigned supervisor and will be involved in the clinical care of your treatment.
A bit more about me…
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m likely cheering at a basketball game, tending to my garden, or exploring mountain trails with my dogs. I also have a deep appreciation for the arts and love catching a live theater performance or a good comedy show whenever I can.

LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor & Clinical Supervisor
Schedule With Me
Beth is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and went to Winona State University in Minnesota for her undergraduate degree. She moved to Arizona in 2008 and completed her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Ottawa University in 2013. She has worked in the behavioral health field since 2009 in various capacities and settings. In 2023, she moved to Wisconsin to be closer to family. As a Chicago native, Beth is an avid Bears fan and looks forward to football season every fall.
Beth’s goal, as a therapist, is to help people navigate their mental health journey in a safe and positive way. She achieves this by providing a judgement free space for her clients.
Beth provides telehealth services only. Any necessary in-person care, such as supplemental trauma therapy, is administered by Danielle.
A bit more about me…
When I step away from the therapy room, I’m often practicing self-care: losing myself in a good book, attempting to keep my garden alive (it’s a metaphor for growth, right?), or dedicating myself to a crafting project. On Sundays, I practice emotional regulation by cheering for the Chicago Bears—even in Packers territory. Mostly, I enjoy being low-key with my family and my animals.

A bit more about me…
Outside of the therapy office, you may find me planning a themed dinner party to simulate a mini-vacation. I enjoy hiking and nature-based activities, as they provide spiritual and emotional grounding for my work as a trauma therapist. I also value quality time with friends and family, acting as an unpaid food critic at new restaurants, and attending live comedy shows.
